    I am reading Duty Honor Planet and have a question – a meter is 39 inches you use this term meter to describe giants at 2 meters and most of the reg characters at 1 meter Am I missing something???

    • The enemy biomechs are referred to as being over two meters tall, which would make them over six foot eight inches.
      The human characters are referred to as being between a meter-six and a meter-eight. That would be one meter and six decimeters, or five foot three, to one meter and eight decimeters, or five ten.
