Just a progress report for those who only follow my writing here (both of you!).
I just finished writing book 5 of the Wholesale Slaughter series, Judas Kiss, and I am currently working on the plot outline for book 6, tentatively entitled Redemption’s Shadow, as well as putting a few tweaks to the plot outline Drew Avera wrote for the third book in our Broken Arrow Mercenary Force collaboration, Spoils of War. I should be starting on both those books within a week.
On top of that, I have signed to write another trilogy of military SF novels for Aethon Publishing, the same great people who put out Wholesale Slaughter. More details on that to follow!

Did you come up with the wholesale slaughter universe first or build it as you were working on the series?

I’ve had the universe and the basic idea for the series hanging around in my head and my hard drive for years. I decided to try writing it for NaNoWriMo last year and wound up selling the series to Aethon Books.

Hey there. I just wanted to stop by and give you some props. I found Wholesale Slaughter via kindle about a week ago and I’ve made it through the first three books. The detailed descriptions of the battles and the character development are awesome; along with some good humor mixed in there as well. I’m definitely looking forward to the next few and will be checking out your other series. Keep up the good work!
