I have a question for you. What is your past connection to special operations? I have a brother who was a green beret for 29 years. When I was a kid I asked him. What was the biggest difference between US Army special forces, and Navy seals and his reply was simply, “S.F. Does not advertise.”
in your earth war series, you make several comments that allude to an agreement with my brothers opinion. It’s been my experience that there are very few people that know the difference, the only reason I know the difference is through my relationship with my older brother, and I was wondering what experience you have that brought you to that, what I consider, accurate opinion.
I’ve had several instructors and fellow infantry officers who were previously Special Forces, so I have a pretty good exposure to them and their mindset and personality. Never served with or knew a SEAL but I have a friend who was on many operations attached to SEALs and his impressions color my writing about them.
