Space Hunter Book 6: Terminal Bounty is out today!

Standard

When an ancient evil threatens the galaxy, all that stands in the way is a bounty hunter with a plan… but no plan survives contact with the enemy.

Jack walks right into a trap, inadvertently giving the Predecessor Cult exactly what they want; the means to unleash a devastating new weapon. Without immediate and decisive action, death and destruction will wash across the entire galaxy, wiping out human and Tahni alike.

A threat of this magnitude cannot be thwarted by a lone bounty hunter.

From murderous cyborgs to conniving pirates, white-collar civilians to Fleet Intelligence commandos and battle-hardened marines—no one is immune to the call to arms. In the face of imminent disaster, Jack must call in every favor, exploit every connection, dig deep within himself, and fight to the bitter end.

The stage is set for one last battle, and this time, the fate of the galaxy itself is at stake.

If you haven’t read Psi Wars…

Standard

I just re-read Psi Wars Book 2: Conflagration to do some research for my latest Drop Trooper book and felt a deep frustration.
It’s hard to say this without sounding egotistical, but I feel like the writing in Conflagration is the best I’ve ever done, the characters really fleshed out, and it’s a little frustrating that the series hasn’t attracted more readers.
I know that’s partly my fault because book 1, Homecoming, is a little slower and involves characters who aren’t as popular as the ones in Conflagration. Homecoming mostly deals with Sandi, Ash and Korri from the Acheron series, whereas Conflagration is much more involved with Caleb Mitchell, Deke Conner, and Kara McIntire from the Birthright series as well as Randall Munroe from the Recon series, both of which were more popular.
If I had to do it over again, I would have tried to include more of those characters in book one, but I think it was the right decision story-wise.
Perhaps the other thing that hurt sales for this series was that you had to have read the Birthright, Recon and Acheron series to understand it–sort of an Avengers deal where you needed to watch the other movies first.
Still, if you have read those other series and like Caleb, Munroe and the other characters, you really need to read Psi War. It’s an epic tale and you’re going to need to read it to know what’s going on in the next couple Drop Trooper novels…

Taken to the Stars Book 2: WAR OF THE LIBERATOR is out today on ebook and audio!

You can’t fight a war without guns.

Charlie and his friends need to arm their ship, but they have a small problem—black market particle cannons cost a lot of money. And they don’t have any.

Which leaves them only one option. They have to steal the guns from the Anguilar Empire.

It’s a daring plan, but it backfires when Laranna is captured by the enemy and taken back to her homeworld of Strada, which has been conquered and garrisoned by the Empire.

Charlie won’t abandon her and when he and Giblet crash land on Strada, they’re forced to team up with the local resistance fighters to free not only Laranna, but the whole planet.

If they win, they’ll have struck the first meaningful blow in the war against the Anguilar.

If they lose…not only are Charlie and his friends dead, but tens of thousands of innocent civilians could die in reprisal.

Can a college student from Earth, taken to the stars by forces beyond his control, win the first victory in an interstellar war?
